A well bred All Around guy.... Poppy has had miles of extensive riding, both on roads and on rough terrain, dirt roads and in town, been camping in new areas. He’s been by the kids at the local school and has worked at a cattle yard back East. He really likes people and wants to please. He has a ranch reining feel to him, neck reins but also direct reins. Poppy has ranch Versatility skills which include side passing, turning on the forehand and his haunches, good back up, opens gates, does roll backs, and has a smooth canter/lope. He’s even been to horse shows and play days! This along with his smooth ground covering gait makes him a pleasure to ride and he will take you anywhere you point him. Just a nice all around young horse as he turns 7 this October.
