Missouri Fox Trotter
Boone is a 9 year old gelding and stands at 15.2 hh, buckskin color is an added piazzz with his already good looks! He's well-built and in excellent condition, with beautiful ground manners, and his gaits are easy to ride, I just can't say enough about this nice horse. He's smooth in his gaits, he'll go all day and he's happy to go out for just an hour or two. Boones lope is wonderful, he knows his leads, has a good whoa, will go faster if asked to, and will walk slow in a slow group with your quarter horse friends. LOL He goes great alone and in groups !
Boone neck reins really well and side passes, helps you open and close gates, does all kinds of obstacles, bridges, mud or water, he's one nice and willing guy. You could use all of his buttons as needed, or just ride down the trail where he can show you how athletic and sure footed he is on treacherous terrain or just flat roads. Could probably be a patrol horse if you so desired. Boone also ponies out my reluctant mules or anything I put them to task with. Probably not for a beginner. He's just too nice and well trained, light on the bit and a light to ride, with your legs. Loads and trailers well and does everything alone or within groups. He's also good turned out with others. He's never been number one. Just a very nice horse . He's pretty much our go to Guy.
